MAC Multitaskers

The Multitaskers-
MAC has always been one of my favourite beauty brands since I can remember. It probably all started about 4-5 years ago, when I first started watching YouTube tutorials! I can still remember to this day, my first ever MAC purchase the week after my birthday. For those who are wondering, it was MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. And yeah, you guessed, it's still an all-time favourite. But on a recent holiday, I couldn't resist going into duty free, and buying myself a little present. There is just something about Duty Free, don't you think? It is definitely acceptable to look forward to the pre-flight shopping, just as much as the holiday (if not more!)

These two items are thee best things I own, literally! I can use them for endless things- they are so versatile. Obviously, I use both the brush and eyeshadow to fill in my eyebrows. With whats left, I then usually do a little flick on the edge of my eyelid and underneath to add some depth and definition. I also use this brush and shade along the sides of my nose.. just to do a touch of contouring to make my nose slimmer! This shade is also perfect for cheek contouring. Yeah, it may look a little frightening and dark, but with a loose hand and a brush such as a duo fibre brush, it evenly distributes the product to create a natural shadow.

M.A.C Blushbaby

M.A.C Blush - Blushbaby

This blush is called 'Blushbaby' from the sheertone blush catagory at Mac!
I love this blush. The natural/neutral tone to this blush really appealed to be as it is a similar colour to my natural cheek colour. I find that this works well as a 'base' blush.. mainly because when you apply a different coloured blush on top, it really makes it pop and seem much for fresh and brighter.

It is a sheer blush as the name suggests. But when you apply a couple of layers, the colour really comes out and looks very natural. I apply it with a blush brush from Mac onto my cheekbones first, then blend it out towards the tops of my cheekbones.

What's On My Face #1

What's On My Face #1
I guess this is a similar post to my 'What's in my makeup bag' post I did previously. Except an updated version. These products are what I'm loving at the moment...

My first WOMF! The products above achieve a lovely dewy face, which is right on trend!

I firstly start by using L'Oreal Lumi Magique primer all over my face. This gives a really glowy look as the particles in it are very shimmery and pearl like. For my foundation I am using Benefits Hello Flawless foundation. It is a lovely light coverage foundation, but still covers any imperfections. It is a very natural, radiant looking foundation once on your skin. I then apply Benefits Sun Beam with a Mac 187 on my cheeks, and lightly dust over my face to make it more luminous and add a bit more colour to my face. Once that has dried a little, I apply Nars Laguna Bronzer to warm my face up nicely, and in the hollows of my cheeks for a more contoured look. For my blush, I am using Maybelline's Dream Touch Blush in Peach, on the apples of my cheeks. I prefer cream blushes when I am going for a much more radiant look as they give a more natural finish. Lastly on my cheekbones I apply MAC Soft & Gentle to highlight.
On my eyes, I apply a base of Maybelline's Color Tattoo in the shade 05- Eternal Gold. In the crease and outer of my eyelid, I apply another Color Tattoo in the shade 35- On and on Bronze. To line my eye, I apply L'Oreal Super Liner just along my lash line. Finally, I coat my eyelashes a couple of times with Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara. I love this mascara because it adds volume and length, without making my eyelashes clump!

Let me know how you get on when trying out this look.
Lots of love xx
